The High Priestess, Card 2
The High Priestess is card 2 in a tarot deck and is one of the 22 Major Arcana cards in your deck.
The High Priestess is all about the divine feminine, intuition, mystery, and higher power. Note the way the character is between the elements of the card, showing that the High Priestess is charged with maintaining balance. This card represents Aspen's house witch and is close to our hearts. It's ruled by Selene (Our Moon) and water, and if asking the cards a yes-or-no question, the answer is a balanced Maybe.
To represent The High Priestess, this tea is made with:
Lady's Mantle: Utilized to enhance intuition, channel grace, and connect with primordial goddess energies.
Rose Petals: Ruled by Venus and the water element. It is the premier herb for self-love, attraction, opening the heart chakra, and traditional beauty spells.
Raspberry Leaf: Closely linked to the Divine Feminine, pregnancy folklore, and motherhood. It provides grounding and protective energetic barriers. Also good to assist with cramps.
Mugwort: Intimately tied to the Moon and the goddess Artemis. Witches use it for divination, lucid dreaming, astral travel, and cleansing scrying mirrors.
Cornflower: A potent feminine herb in witchcraft, primarily aligned with the planet Venus, the element of Earth (and sometimes Water), and the Third Eye and Throat chakras.
All teas are handmade and therefore will have variations in each blend. Each tea is made with love, magic, and intention from the house witch. This tea is approximately 25 grams, which should serve between 10-12 separate brewings (twice as much if you double brew your herbs as I do!) Used and unused tea is compostable.
